SINGER Durabilt iron is in lovely, shiny condition. Looks like it was minimally used and then saved away. Complete with the original box with a perfect condition cloth cord.





Did you know that Singer acquired "Durabilt" Iron Manufacturing? Singer purchased the Durabilt Company in the 1940s. Actually, it was pretty common for Singer to contract with outside companies to make and produce things with the Singer logo.

Compact - yet very "dura"ble!  This iron does work and adjusts the heat temperature appropriately - ironing quite well.  However, because it is a vintage electrical appliance, the iron must be sold as a display piece only.

Box is very tattered and adhered in several places to prevent further tearing. But, after all, it is still present and bears the SINGER logo.  To keep the box lid in place I have tied a piece of jumbo rick rack for your presentation.
