How to Use the Tucker Attachment



Offered to you is a genuine vintage Singer Attachment - called the Tucker - this will do wonders to your sewing embellishments! WORKING & TESTED and will fit your Featherweight 221 or 222K but will also work with any low, vertical shank Singer Sewing Machine. (i.e. 15, 66, 99, 127, 128, 185, 192, 201, 306, 319, 328, and more...)  Several pages of instructions and application are included for your learning and reference.

In the Machine Sewing Book, it is recommended to set your stitch length at about 20 stitches to the inch.  In appearances, this puts more emphasis on the beauty of the actual “tuck” rather than on the long stitch.  One can often tell a cheaply made garment from a high-end quality-made one just by looking at the stitch to which the tuck was made.
