A genuine vintage Singer Attachment - called the Ruffler - ruffles, gathers, and sometimes used for shirring, this will do wonders to your sewing embellishments!  This attachment was originally included with a Singer Sewing Machine purchase in the Standard Attachments Box and sometimes individually, placed in the Fashion Aids Attachments Case like you see below.

This attachment will work on any short, vertical shank Singer Sewing Machine, including the 15, 66, 99, 127, 128, 185, 192, 201, Singer Featherweight 221 and 222 (222K), 328, and more. . .
