We are very excited to add this lovely Featherweight 221 to the site.  Completely serviced, cleaned, polished, electrically inspected, timed, tuned and sampled - rest assured, this Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case. Powerful original 110v motor with a quiet, smooth stitch.  As with all machines purchased from April 1930’s, this will be accompanied with a Guarantee Certificate.  Serial number AL 919*** indicates an original production commission date of January 17, 1955.

The original flip-up bed extension was severely damaged therefore another original bed (with the coordinating paper clip decals) has been swapped. Doing this helped to maintain the machine’s integrity and beautiful completeness.  The bed extension shows more wear than the other areas.


















The original decals are still in place with minimal wear. 





Normal pin markings throughout - don’t you think they add charm and reminiscent nostalgia? I can’t help but wonder what special garments were sewn and treasured.

Case is in good overall condition. Case includes the top side-tray for holding the box of attachments, manual, etc...
