This little attachment is a great accessory to have on hand - I’ve used mine more frequently on my Featherweight 221 and 222 than you might think!

Unlike the Automatic ZigZagger so often seen, this attachment is quick and easy - with a simple adjustment on the side of the unit, you can create a wide zig zag or narrow zig zag. And, adjusting the stitch length on your machine, you can have a long stitch or short stitch.



Small and compact it is easily stored in your Featherweight Sewing Machine Case and quickly attached with a thumb screw.

Here is a an example of this attachment at work. I’m using it for overcast stitching the seam allowances.

Adjust the ZigZagger to a narrow stitch bight and you can even do applique!





For use on all Singer Lock-Stitch low shank Sewing Machines (i.e. 15, 66, 99, 185, 192 (Spartan), 201 and, of course, the Featherweight 221 or 222). You will have much enjoyment giving your straight stitch machine versatility.

I have found that the Attachment ZigZaggers are easier to learn for light applique' work with short, satin-type stitching. The longer zigzag stitches require more practice, but I have used mine in a pinch when I didn't have my serger accessible and I needed to overcast inside seam allowances.
