Oliver + S Childrens Clothing Patterns

After sewing several items from the Oliver + S pattern design, I am quite impressed. Not only for a beginner seamstress, but for the advanced sew-ist as well - Liesl Gibson (the designer) is a natural teacher at heart, thus providing perfect instruction in text as well as through her clean-line illustrations. Sizes range from Birth to Size 12, depending on the style. Each pattern comes complete with a superior quality tissue paper pattern (really, truly, I’ve not seen another pattern tissue quite like this!), instructional sheet, adorable pattern envelope and the collectable paper doll to cut out which coordinates with the pattern purchased. You will want each pattern for the paper doll alone!

I do all my sewing on my little ol’ Featherweight! That’s right, I really, truly do. All of the garments I have made from the Oliver + S patterns have been made exclusively on my Featherweight 222 save for the inside seams which were serged. My little Featherweight didn’t even so much as hiccup when I made a little tweed jacket... not even through all the folded seams twice over!
